Shin-Etsu KY-1907 is a high-performance fluorine-based anti-fingerprint/anti-fouling coating solution (AF coating solution) launched by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. of Japan. It belongs to their well-known SHIN-ETSU SUBELYN series of products. This material is mainly composed of organic fluorine groups and reactive silane groups, and is commonly used for surface treatment of glass covers, touch screens, automotive displays, and various optical lenses.

  • Hydrophobic, oleophobic, and stain-resistant: An extremely thin nano-scale fluorine film forms on the substrate surface, making it difficult for sweat, oil, and fingerprints to adhere.
