- Semiconductor Manufacturing Thermal Management: Due to its high boiling point of 98°C and chemical inertness, it is the gold standard fluid for temperature control and cooling systems in wafer fabrication equipment, ion implanters, dry etching machines, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) equipment.
- Specialty Reaction Media: Used as a stable medium for extraction, separation, and anhydrous chemical reactions in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
- Precision Light-Duty Cleaning: Used for light oil removal, particulate rinsing, and vapor-phase degreasing of high-end aerospace and microelectronic components.
- Lubricant Carrier: With extremely high fluorocarbon solubility, it is commonly used as a diluent for coating fluorinated lubricants such as perfluoropolyethers (PFPE).
- Immersion Liquid Cooling for New Energy Vehicles: In recent years, it has also begun to be used in direct immersion thermal management of high-power battery packs in electric vehicles.
